Just as we need to repent of our failure to rest, we need to repent of our failure to celebrate. In Christ, we have the greatest reason to celebrate, and the greatest reason for joy, Let’s declare that together:
Oh, thank God—he’s so good! His love never runs out.
All of you set free by God, tell the world!
Tell how he freed you from oppression,
We can say to ourselves, “Relax and rest.
God has showered us with blessings.”
We’re walking in the presence of God,
alive in the land of the living!
What can I give back to God
for the blessings he’s poured out on me?
I’ll lift high the cup of salvation—a toast to God!
I’ll pray in the name of God;
I’ll complete what I promised God I’d do,
and celebrate it together with his people.
