Our hope is to fill our lives with a constant outpouring of worship to our God. Let’s pray together that this may become our reality:
You are the blessed God,
the source of happiness in your creatures,
Our Maker, Supporter, Ruler.
You have produced and sustained us,
saved and kept us;
You are able in every situation to meet
our needs and failures.
May we live by you,
live for you,
and never be satisfied with our Christian progress
except as we resemble Christ;
Let your unequaled love lead us to obedience,
and help us see our duty as our delight.
If others think our faith folly
our humility weakness
our zeal madness,
our hope delusion,
our actions hypocrisy,
may we rejoice to suffer for your name.
Keep us walking towards our true inheritance.
Support us by the strength of heaven
that we may never turn back
or desire false pleasures
that wilt and disappear into nothing.
