Hear the word of the Lord:
When you were dead in your sins…, God made you alive with Christ.
He forgave us all our sins, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands;
He took it away, nailing it to the cross.
(Colossians 2:13-14)
Though our sins overwhelm us, the mercy of God far surpasses them.
In Christ, we are forgiven.
As God’s children, let’s welcome one another now with a spirit of love and thankfulness.
