We begin each Sunday with a call to worship – a reminder that God has spoken and invites us to respond to him with worship. Today, we begin by remembering that we are part of a story that generations before us and generations after us are taking part in. Let’s stand together, and respond to God’s word:
The Lord tells us: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart”
We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
God made us and wrote our stories, giving us an eternal hope in Christ.
He set it all out before us in him, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone
